MY SUMMER OF RESEARCH

I've been pretty quiet on here for a while, mainly because I have spent most of my summer researching and writing my MA dissertation. It's taken a while, but has been pretty exciting to reconsider both new and old ideas. Above is the first image from the essay. Theme: Woman in the city, feminist discourse, structure is surveillance, thinking up new ideas for transgressive femininity. It's exciting to consider that my mind is fizzing with new ideas for creative motivation this year...

grieve regrets

regret we feel

we guilt re-live sadness over or anger

fully with intention

A NEW PROJECT

Femininity and the 'in-between', a performative space between being and non-being... initially explored by the idea of a 'Changing room'. I'm thinking about constructing female identity, irrational judgement and the uncomfortable experience of trying to 'fit in'.
